A little bit about me
First and foremost, I am an animal lover. We always had animals around us growing up. My first “pet” was a salamander! When it died, I gave it a real burial in the back yard! Our dog Sheba, was a beautiful Golden Lab. She had such a sweet temperament and was always there to comfort me when things got tough. We also had a cat, and I learned early on what it meant to be a pack leader, as she was that!! She kept the dog in line, and everybody else too!
My plan was to go to Veterinarian College after high school to become a Vet. However, as my grades were deplorable, I knew I would never get into medical school! The beauty behind this story is that I had a talent for music and played the oboe very well by then. I moved to Toronto to attend the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto and by my 2nd year was playing professionally. Over the years I’ve had different dogs, a cat and even a bird (named Brahms). I feel that animals play a very important part in our lives, and the unconditional love that a dog gives is such a gift.
The study of dog psychology became a real interest for me about 20 years ago. I read, watched and immersed myself into learning as much as possible on the subject. I began to help my friends with their dog’s behavioural issues and I realized how much I loved helping both pet parents and their dogs. This was a true passion for me, and one that I am fulfilling now! I would love it if you joined my pack!!
